Snow-white slopes, unspoiled nature and the impressive landscape of the Dolomites - this is all part of winter in Alta Badia. Here there are 80 km of carefully groomed and well-signposted winter hiking trails available, from easy walks to multi-hour tours. The most beautiful hiking trails lead from La Val to the Rit meadows and over the Armentara meadows to La Crusc. La Val is also an ideal base for ski tourers: the climbs to the peaks of the Heiligkreuzkofel in the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park are among the most popular ski tours in the region.
