Regional, fresh and authentic tastes
The food at the Alpenrose Hotel is a family tradition. Otmar, the chef, passionately prepares second generation Ladin specialities. He gets most of his high-quality fresh products for menus and breakfasts from local areas within Alta Badia. His Mediterranean gourmet cuisine is enriched with organic meats, vegetables, hay milk, mountain herbs, mushrooms and wild berries. Just to name a few special dishes: Swiss stone pine dumplings on pumpkin and Schüttelbrot tagliatelle with wild ragout.
On Sundays, we serve a gourmet dinner of exquisite specialities. The “Cena Ladina” is served once a week, which includes a buffet of Ladin and South Tyrolean dishes, followed by dinner. If there are no special menus provided, we serve refreshing salads and appetizing buffets, and 3 different 3-course menus to choose from.
Our kitchen offers special dishes, upon request, for anyone with allergies. Vegetarian dishes are available each day to choose from the menu.
Alongside an appetizing dinner, a good glass of wine will always be available.
